Who is AVA Wine Adventures
AVA Wine Adventures was founded by Lisa Baserga in Central Coast California as a result of her love of traveling and passion for Paso Robles AVA wine region.
Lisa’s been a trusted travel advisor for over 15 years and is a regular in the vineyards of Paso Robles and California Central Coast. She’s an adventure seeker with a passion for hiking and biking . . . and anything outdoors (or on water). Lisa loves to work hard . . . and play hard . . . and even better if it’s both at the same time with a glass of wine!
Besides her thirst for wine, Lisa has a hunger for islands. Her favorite memories of the natural landscapes and connections with the beautiful local islanders include conch diving in the Caribbean, scuba in Tahiti, 4x4 in Hawaii, and meke dancing in Fiji.
A few other favorites of Lisa’s have ranged from horseback riding through Patagonia with a gaucho and discovering age-old wines in private cellars of Uco Valley AND kayaking with whales and winemakers from a private yacht. Ultimate four-wheeling through the canyons of Hawaii to plant her own koa legacy tree in honor of her loved ones; biking and hiking through Grand Canyon, Bryce, and Zion National Parks; and railing across France with fine wines…to name just a few!
Never to forget the numerous family reunions with Lisa’s families in Argentina and Indiana, and her parent’s first visit ever to Hawaii for their special renewal of vows in Maui celebrating her father having lived graciously and courageously with cancer until the very end.
